Wireless Internet Use Guidelines
The Boca Raton Public Library provides free wireless Internet access during normal Library business hours. We invite you to explore our high speed wireless access using your own wireless-enabled device. Any use of Library-provided Internet access (wired or wireless) must be in accordance with the Library's Internet Use Policy. Patrons are expected to use these services in a legal, responsible, and considerate manner, consistent with the educational and informational purposes for which it is provided. In order to connect to the Library's wireless network, your device must have a WiFi-compatible network card installed (802.11b or 802.11g). Access is provided throughout the Library, with the exception of the Youth Services Section. Your wireless card should detect the signal immediately (Note: some wireless card software may require some additional procedures and/or setting changes. Please consult your user's manual, or contact your hardware or software provider for any additional assistance.) Once your device picks up the wireless signal, select the Library's wireless network: SSID/Network Name = boca library or Guest Please note the following information and guidelines:
