Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
by J.K. Rowling

This book was an awesome ending to the Harry Potter series. It was filled with excitement and many surprises. Although I never wanted it to end, this was a great way for it to end.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
by J.K. Rowling

This book is probably my favorite in the Harry Potter series. Packed with drama, action and lots of mystery, it is a must read. The Half-Blood Prince is, in my opinion, the darkest of the series so I recommend it for ages 11 and up.

A boy named Cal is infected with a disease that makes you a vampire. But he has the weird type which gives you most of the qualities of a peep, but not crazy. He investigates and captures crazy peeps. Then he meets a girl, but accidentally transfers the disease to his cat, who then transfers it to her. It turns out that non-crazy peeps are really an army being built up to stop a giant crazy worm species from taking over Earth. They continue to battle the worm until they kill it.

Small Eternities
by Michael Lawrence

This is the second book in the Withern Rise Trilogy after A Crack in the Line. You must have read the first book to understand this one. This one is about teens Alaric and Naia living identical lives in separate realities, until they accidentally switch realities. The two then find their separate ways into the "small eternity" in which their great–uncle Aldous lived as a child. A fun, suspenseful mystery!

The War of the Worlds
by H.G. Wells

This book was about outer space creatures which kept it revolting, yet exciting in a teeth-clenching way. I think it was a great book, indeed.
