Mayor Susan Haynie presented Program Services Librarian Oyuki Poletz with a City Proclamation naming February as One Book Boca Month. Join the BRPL for our first community reading experience — One Book Boca — by reading Very Good Lives: The Fringe Benefits of Failure and the Importance of Imagination, by J.K. Rowling. The book was selected by the library staff as part of the Boca Raton Public Library's 2016 Civic Engagement theme for its inspirational message and the deeper question of what it means to live a good life in our modern world. We invite you to participate in several programs:
Teen Book Discussion: Downtown, Feb 4, 6:00 p.m.
Teen Book Discussion: Spanish River, Feb 8, 4:15 p.m.
Moderated Community Discussion: Downtown, Feb 26, 7:00 p.m.
