The 2012 Nominees are Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter by Tom Franklin, Digging to America by Anne Tyler, Last Train to Paradise by Les Standiford, Picking Cotton by Jennifer Thompson-Cannino, Ronald Cotton and Erin Torneo, and Zeitoun by Dave Eggers. Stop by the library to cast your ballot. There are ballot boxes and ballot slips at each Boca Raton Public Library location. Or, vote online.

Announcing Socrates Café
The Boca Raton Public Library is launching a Socrates Café. Meetings will be every Thursday from 1:30-3:00 p.m. starting January 26, 2012, at the Spanish River Library. The Socrates Café will be facilitated by Dr. Renato R. Bellu, a resident of Boca Raton and Professor Emeritus at The City University of New York. View the flyer.

Register for our Winter/Spring Reading Programs!
Session 1 (6 weeks): Registration begins Friday, January 13. Programs begin Monday, January 23.
Session 2 (6 weeks): Registration begins Friday, March 16.
Programs begin Monday, March 26.

The Friends of the Boca Raton Public Library are looking for new Friends and for Friends who are willing to take on a leadership role. Why not fill out a Membership Form and send it in today?
