Presidents Day
The Downtown Library and the Spanish River Library will be closed on Monday, February 15 in observance of Presidents Day. The Libraries will re-open on Tuesday, February 16 at 9:00 a.m.
Powerspeak Languages
The Boca Raton Public Library has recently added an online language tool for you called Powerspeak Languages. Powerspeak will help you learn to speak Spanish, French, German, and Mandarin Chinese using systematic and interactive learning methods that include exercises, games, stories, and other online activities. Each learning module is enhanced with graphics, audio, video, and music. It is recommended that this new learning tool be used at home, school, or office, so that the user can maximize the use of its many features.
Notice to Interlibrary Loan Users
Beginning Monday, October 5, 2009, any Interlibrary Loan Request made through the Boca Raton Public Library will be charged a Shipping and Handling Fee of $4.00. This fee will be charged to patrons at the time their Interlibrary Loan item is picked up. If an Interlibrary Loan item is not picked up, the fee will be charged to the patron’s record at the time the item is returned to the lending library.

BocaKidsOnline
BocaKidsOnline is a kid-friend-lier version of the online catalog featuring bold colors and graphics, the ability to search kid's search engines via the "more info" button, and a fun new way to interpret information about titles in the catalog. Enjoy!
