Downtown Library
The City of Boca Raton has broken ground for a new Downtown Library. The new
41,932 square foot library will be located at the corner of NW 2nd Avenue
and NW
4th Street in Boca Raton.

New Database: MyGovernment
The Boca Raton Public Library has added MyGovernment to
its collection of online resources. This database provides biographical information
and contact information
on elected officials at all levels of government for specified geographical
areas.
Boca Raton Public Library Launches Downloadable eBooks
The Boca Raton Public Library has expanded its services to include eBooks
in the collection. This new service, powered by OverDrive, is free for patrons
with a BRPL card allowing them to check out and download eBooks anytime, anywhere.

Café
The Boca Raton Public Library is sponsoring a Socrates Café gathering
every Thursday from 1:30-3:00 p.m., at the Spanish River Library. The Socrates
Café is being facilitated by Dr. Renato R. Bellu, a resident of Boca
Raton and Professor Emeritus at The City University of New York.
